Got to fish Laguna Niguel for the first time today (3/18). After hearing about how good the flyfishing was I had to try it. Started off fishing the flats about 50 yards off shore with midges. Right off the bat started nailing them.Nothing big but pretty nice fish for stockers raised in a creek as opposed to the concrete raceways. Really good fishing in the morning for me but then just died off after lunch. Although a couple of guys were still nailing them well into the afternoon. I would like to try it again but I hear they may quite stocking as the water is getting too warm. May have to wait until next season..
