I recently received two fly rods as a gift from a friend who got them at an estae sale.
Unfortunately I am not a fly fisherman and will not use them but I checked around and I beleive these to be good quality rods, both in excellent condition.
The first is a two piece Thomas and Thomas rod. The only identifying marks on it other than the makers name are:
9 1/2' / #9-10
I emailed the company and sent them some photos enquiring about the rod. They replied that it was one of the first graphite rods that the company made in the late 70s,
Medium action with metal ferrules and retailed then at $275.00 - $325.00
The other rod is a two piece Browning Boron
Other markings on it are:
Length 9' 6"
Best lines AFTMA 7,8,9
They came in a leather covered double tube case.
Will sell both together for $175.00
Buyer to pay shipping from San Diego.
Cashiers check or money order only
email or PM me for more info.
