Silicone curly tails

Postby mca0766 » Sat Aug 27, 2005 11:31 am

Anyone have a source for silicone curly tails? I'm looking for a decent color selection. I'm hoping for an online source, but if you know a place in San Diego, that'd be good too. Thanks.

Mark, when you find out, lemme know. Back in the 80s I fished with a guide who had developed a series of patterns around these tails, and he claimed the flies were deadly -- on trout.

Cabela's has 'em--they have pretty much everything, come to think of it.

Hey,
A buddy from my local board posted this site for me, this is where I ordered from. Enjoy.

I got the tails, and tied up some flies. they're based on JP's Newport Special, but I've changed to colors I like for SD Bay, and in this case used curly tails. Thanks.
