I attended the meeting regarding Piru Creek and the DWR's plan to alter flows. The meeting was held to gather information regarding the impact of the flow adjustment. Short Version: The Senate Natural Resources and Water Committee representative, Dennis O'Connor, seemed very interested in working a compromise to save the fishery. The only decision made wasw to recommend further review of the DWR's proposal to alter streamflow. A very good thing. Much more later, as I am off to get in a weekend of fishing.
