The old but new... I learned to first fly fish when i was 8 in Montana, now a ripe and well aged 40 Californian all my life and still holds no comparison i know...hence OLD. NEW to msg boards
oK with that......What happen to Deep Creek? A buddy & I went today and I only caught 2 in the 8-10" range, 1 about 3", spooked two others and saw/spooked absolutely ZERO small fry that we saw last summer. Water was up, lots of goog holes and flows, no fish. Weather??? Maybe??? Definately not gear.
With the San Gabe West Fork closed. What else is there? I heard Piru Creek, but seems a bit far for a half day trip.
